Sweet Cakery Refund and Cancellation Policy
At Sweet Cakery, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We take great pride in delivering freshly baked cakes and other confectionery items. However, we understand that there may be instances when a refund is necessary. Please read our refund policy carefully:
1. Eligibility for Refunds
- Damaged or Incorrect Items: If you receive an item that is damaged, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. To be eligible for a refund, we require photos of the product and the packaging as proof of the issue.
- Non-Delivery: In the rare case that your order is not delivered as scheduled (and not due to customer unavailability or incorrect address), you are eligible for a full refund.
- Quality Concerns: If the quality of the product does not meet your expectations, please reach out to us within 24 hours of delivery with a detailed explanation. Refunds or replacements for quality concerns will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
2. Non-Refundable Items
- Custom or Personalized Cakes: Custom-made cakes are non-refundable once production has started. We always confirm the design and details with the customer before beginning, so please double-check the information provided.
- Change of Mind: We cannot issue refunds if you change your mind after placing the order, as our products are made-to-order and perishable.
- Missed Deliveries: If delivery fails due to incorrect address or the customer being unavailable, re-delivery charges will apply, and refunds will not be issued.
3. How to Request a Refund
- Please email us at info@sweetcakery.in or WhatsApp us at 8123807781 within 24 hours of receiving your order. Be sure to include your order number, a detailed explanation of the issue, and any relevant photos.
4. Processing Refunds
- Once your refund request is reviewed and approved, we will initiate the refund process. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
5. Cancellations
- Orders can be canceled within 2 hours of placing the order for a full refund. After this time, we may have already started preparing your order, and cancellations will not be possible.
